There is a coffee shop and an outdoor area where there was a live performance that day. There are also displays of musical instrument manufacturers, and displays of each kind of instrument. The headphones will link to the videos playing on that display screen, which show a few clips of the music in that region, using the instruments you see on display. This is a wonderful place, not just for musical instruments, but also history and geography and cultures from around the world.Įach country display has a map where the country is located, and instruments (and costume /dress) used in that location. This gorgeous tract of land deserves so much more. Everyone else couldn’t land a job at Taco Bell.
GROUPON HURRICANE HARBOR PHOENIX PRO
The guys in the pro shop were solid and the starter were very personable. Spend your money at Troon, play a better course, and have a much better experience for the same price. Totally uncalled for- we found it very insulting. We were harassed twice in the first four holes by the same ranger asking if we paid for our round (of course we did). She clearly did not want to be there and took her frustration out on my friends who came to visit for the weekend. Received attitude the entire time from the bartender. Showed up to the bar an hour before our tee time, took 10 min to get a menu, 20 min to get a drink, and 50 minutes to get our food- check out the picture of how it came out. Beautiful place in the 90’s and early 00’s but the facilities are dated, which I can understand, but the service was by far the worst part. I don’t think I’ve left a Google review in my life, but this place was miserable. More than likely won’t go back which is a shame we were excited to go since we heard good things and live down the street. With the admission to get in, 90% of the staff being kids and the extra charge on the train you would think they could at least make sure the lights were on and working. Made it seem run down and not maintained. I was willing to overlook everything till that. really? One of the biggest attractions at that place for Christmas and a good percentage didn’t even work? Would live to get my money back. What a disappointment!!! About 30%-40% of the lights on the Illumination Express didn’t work or weren’t turned on….

Then, we paid extra ($30) for 3 people to ride the Illumination Express. Liked the decorating pine ones, writing a letter to Santa with the mailbox right there… then once we hit the Santa’s workshop it started going downhill… staff were all kids who knew nothing and could answer questions, it was confusing what was included and what wasn’t, and the line for the one thing that was hot on a cold night was forever long. The entrance was festive since we went right at 5:30 the lines for Santa and the train abs hay ride weren’t long at all and the Santa Claus lane was beautiful. So we went for the Christmas at Schnepf Farms the Sunday after Thanksgiving, at first I thought for sure we could make this a tradition.
